The rich culture of our Community emphasises hardwork and integrity.
”ỌMỌLÚÀBÍ” (“ỌMỌLÚWÀBÍ”) is the shortened form of the group of words, that is “ỌMỌ TÍ OLÚWÀ BÍ” used by the Yorubas to describe people that possess certain attributes, namely, hardwork, integrity, godliness and good neighborliness. The concept of ỌMỌLÚÀBÍ also highlights respect for elders, humility, bravery and truthfulness. The tenets of ”ỌMỌLÚÀBÍ” handed down to us in ÈKÙSÁ by our ancestors is a call to being virtuous people out of which will always come selfless leaders and reliable followers that will make for progress and preservation of our community. However, in principle the Yorubas, treat relegion as personal matter to individuals and as such it is not made one of the building blocks of ”ỌMỌLÚÀBÍ” philosophy.
